I was so surprised to have a baby shower today! My class threw me a shower and Caleb got all kinds of goodies! Some really cute clothes, 2 really cool toys--a puppy that teaches the ABCs, body parts, etc and a giraffe seat/rocker that is adorable, stuffed animals, SOFT blankets that I want to sleep with now, washcloths and towels, lotions and body wash, onesies, picture frames, a picture album, a bag with places to put pictures in it, and other things that I can't remember right now! It was so cute because the kids kept it a secret as long as they could, which I'm sure was VERY hard for 7-8 year olds!! And my boys were more excited during the shower than the girls...it was hillarious. Everyting I would hold up they would say "AWWWW....."-it didn't matter what it was! I am also excited because I have a shower coming up on Sat. too! Yippee!! Now all I need is the baby!! :) Less than 60 days to go!

Weekend update
Nothing of major significance happened this weekend, but I thought I'd update anyway. On Sat., I got up and went to this free yard sale at a church right down the road from us. Yep, free! I got a few baby clothes and books for Caleb. Then, Bryan and I went to our neice Bella's soccer game at Southland. She is in kindergarten, so the whole thing was pretty amusing to watch, but the kids were so cute!! I got teary thinking about how this could be Bryan and I's life in a few years. Then we went over to our friend Dave and Jenny's house for a short visit. She is due a month before me and is on bedrest, so we took them some food for the week so she doesn't have to worry about cooking. Next we checked out Once Upon a Child because I had never been before and MAN I'm going to have to stay away from here on out! They have brand new looking clothes for 3 and 4 dollars that run for MUCH more at places like Babies R Us. I got a few outfits and some maternity shorts for me. Then today we went and saw "Prince Caspian"--the 2nd installment of the Chronicles of Narnia series--it was very good, and I have a new favorite literary character--Reepicheep, the swashbuckling mouse! He was SO cute and funny! Bryan and I are trying to read all the books before we see the movies. I can't wait to read the books to Caleb.
Oh and I forgot to mention-this week I had a small scare and thought I had some amniotic fluid leaking...luckily that turned out NOT to be the case, but it was scary to say the least. I'm only at 31 weeks, so Caleb definitely needs to bake a little longer (as uncomfortable as I may be!)!
And one last thought--8 1/2 more days of school!!! WOO HOO!!!!

My little brother is a married man!!
Well, yesterday Bryan and I headed to Bardstown to see Matthew and Ashley get married. It was in the middle of nowhere, but it was outside and beautiful. The weather was perfect!! It was a lot of fun to see family I hadn't seen since Christmas, when I was just 1-2 months pregnant! They couldn't believe how much the belly had grown. Matthew looked handsome and Ashley looked gorgeous in her dress. She came in on a horse and carriage, very romantic!! The cake was so cute, the bridesmaid dresses were pink and very pretty, and the food was yummy. I just can't believe my "little brother" is now married! He and Ashley are now on their honeymoon in the Bahamas (Paradise Island I believe)...I'm so jealous, esp. since the weather here today is GROSS-cold and rainy. I will post pics later, but it was wonderful!! Congrats to them!

Bryan's Birthday
Today was Bryan's 33rd bday!! You're getting old, sweetie! Just kidding. :) To surprise him, I planned a 4D ultraound session for this morning...he was SO surprised. It was really awesome--we got about 45 minutes of just getting to look at our baby and ended up with, like, 44 pictures, video, etc. I will post pics later but let me say, CALEB IS BIG! The 3D pics did not do him justice--he little legs and arms are chunky monkey! The lady who did the ultrasound guessed that I would go 2 weeks early...so we'll see!! Anyway, after the ultrasound, we went to Flag Fork Herb Garden to use his free birthday lunch coupon...it was yummy!! Then we did some shopping, went to Joanna's graduate school graduation party and were there for quite a while playing with Alayna and hanging out, then went over to his mom's to show her the pictures of Caleb. It was a BUSY but fun day.
More later, including pics!
